The compiler used a poor convention to indicate years, almost as though it was done after the listing was created. As you look down the 1^st and 2^nd columns of dates, notice the years occurring in both columns as the year changes from 1926 to 1927 to 1928 to 1929. This marriage was the last marriage listed for which both columns were 1928, with the next record shows 1929 in both columns. A little confusing is the additional 1929 placed two records above Eskew's marriage. That was because that record's Date of Issue was in Dec. 1928 and Date of Marriage was in Jan. 1929.
